This is the hotel we stayed at, the Lotte. It was suprisingly very good. We've stayed at a handful of nice hotels, most notably the Venetian in Las Vegas, the top suite at the Westin we had our reception at, and this place in Bora Bora, and the Lotte compared favorably with them. Jieun thinks it's the best place we've ever stayed at. I think that's kind of a stretch, but it was very good.

Like, it had a bidet. Also, a nightly Las Vegas style show, kind of in the vein of Treasure Island. Huge suite, good service, nice place. Only thing is, no English TV, but whatever, can't have everything. We used the bidet tons. Both the water temperature and the air dryer temperature were adjustable. And you can adjust the water angle for guys and girls. Uh, I won't explain that one.

You'll see on the sign there's a casino there. The weird thing is, Koreans aren't allowed in the casinos. Only international tourists. Jieun was very proud because she asked information where the casino is, and they said it's only for foreigners (thinking Jieun's a national). Her Korean actually got way way better while we were on the trip. Her language skills are phenomenal.

Anyway, the casino was totally depressing, even more so than a normal casino. 20 employees all just sitting around waiting for players, with only about 3 players in the room, Chinese folks. Also weird were the games they had. No blackjack. Just roulette and a bunch of games I didn't know, some involving I think mahjong blocks. Strange.
