Supposedly, drinking this particular water at Cheju will make you live longer. Whatever. Pretty good tasting water though.

On the plane back from Cheju I read this English language newspaper that was pretty interesting. Had one article talking about how Koreans drink too much, and how it's related to this Korean sense of obligation, jong? I can't remember the term. But yeah, people feel compelled to drink out of obligation and this article was saying how Korea needs to get past that.

Another article was essentially blaming Bush and the neo-cons for all of Korea's problems. Totally biased and uninformed, and the article was written by someone involved with some organization called like Asians to Defeat Bush. I dunno, the anti-Bush sentiment was pretty strong in Korea.
