It was my dad's 60th birthday, and in Korean society, the 60th birthday is a big deal. I think it's related to being 5 cycles of the zodiac or something. But you have a huge party and all that. My dad wanted something more low key, so we all went to Telluride, CO in a church member's sweet timeshare. It was ostensibly for him, but really it turned into the Ellie (my niece) show, she pretty much dominated the time there. But cutest babies in the world will do that.

Can I just say that Telluride is about the most inaccessible tourist destination ever? There are like no direct flights after mid September, and everything's butt expensive. We ended up flying to a city called Grand Junction (not a direct flight) then driving 3 hours to Telluride. It took like 10 hours each way. Ridiculous.
