So I'm an old, married, boring, fogey, but I don't get loud bar culture. You can't hear anything. So you're yelling directly at another person and only catching fragments of what they're saying. This is fun? Or is it the getting drunk part that's fun? I dunno, it's beyond me. I much prefer a quiet bar. Or a karaoke bar, where you can at least sing together. But what do I know. I'm boring.
